Once your Motion for Audi Connect hardware has been installed and set up by an Audi technician, you should not disconnect it from your car. If you received a notification saying "Device Has Been Unplugged", you can either return your car to your Audi dealer and have them reconnect it, or you can reconnect it yourself.
How can I reconnect my hardware?
- Make sure your car is safely parked and the engine is turned off. (Do not reconnect the device unless the car is turned off.)

The installed Motion for Audi Connect hardware has a cable that runs from the hardware to the OBD port that is typically located under your instrument panel.
- Look under your instrument panel for your OBD port and for the unplugged cable end.
- Plug the cable end into the OBD port. Do this carefully to ensure you don't damage the pin connection, but ensure that the plug is firmly into the socket.
- Take your car for a test drive in an area with cellular coverage to confirm that the hardware is functioning.
