Note: Before attempting to fix the Bluetooth connection, please make sure to park your vehicle in an open area with good network connectivity. Put the vehicle in Parked mode and disable Apple CarPlay/Android Auto(if enabled) and that there are no smartphones connected to the vehicle via a cable.
1. Push the Menu button on the dash, access the vehicle’s MMI system, and go to Settings>Connection Manager.
2. Make sure that you have your preferred phone set as the Primary phone, then go down to Secondary Phone and select Audi SOS - NO 911[DO NOT DELETE].
- If you do not see Audi SOS - NO 911[DO NOT DELETE] under Secondary Telephone, select Connect new device, the vehicle will then scan for available Bluetooth devices it can pair with. Once it detects Audi SOS - NO 911[DO NOT DELETE], select it and choose Yes on the PIN confirmation pop-up.
We recommend that you set Audi SOS - NO 911[DO NOT DELETE] as the default Secondary Telephone, to do that, highlight Audi SOS - NO 911[DO NOT DELETE] under Secondary Telephone and push the right control button on the MMI control pad to bring the option.
NOTE: When your hardware is not actively Bluetooth-paired with your vehicle, Automatic Crash Notifications are still active. If a crash is detected, your phone will still receive emergency notification and the Audi emergency center will still be notified, but they will not be able to call your car.
